Adds a sweet, soft anise scent with a balsamic touch

Typical use level

Typically about 0.005–0.2 g per 100 g

Watch out for

It's a labelable fragrance allergen: above the threshold, it has to be named separately on the ingredient list
It isn't used very often
Reportedly also a labelable allergen in Korea (the official notice text hasn't been verified)
